The Roman-Catholic Church of the Annunciation of our Lord was built around the second half of the 13th century. Its medieval architecture can be more or less guessed from the preserved triumphal arch and stone baptistery. The church saw changes in 1815, when today's sanctuary vault was built. The architect Tomáš Bujna, a parishioner of the church, renovated the church in 2006. He renewed the wall coatings outside and resolved the technical problems inside. The church has a new floor heating system, rearranged liturgical area and enlarged emporia. Most of the new additions - floor tiles, altar mensa and pulpit - have been made using artificial stone or surface-treated concrete. The simplicity and cleanliness of the church interior emphasize the importance of the sacral place. Pavol Zaťko
