Die erste Monografie über die Architekten Marie-Claude Bétrix und Eraldo Consolascio präsentiert sich als «Musterbuch», in dem ein detaillierter Blick auf prägnante Aspekte geworfen wird. In ihrer langjährigen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Industriebau haben Bétrix & Consolascio neue Ansätze in der Konzeption von Fassaden, strukturellen Systemen und Innenräumen erprobt, aus denen spätere Bauaufgaben ihr starkes Ausdrucksvermögen schöpfen. Präsentiert werden u.a. die Bauten für Energieversorgung in Salzburg (1985–2003), die Sporthalle Herti in Zug (2001), die Frauenklinik des Universitätsspitals Bern (2002), das Pfizer Gebäude (2003) sowie das Stadion Letzigrund in Zürich (2007).

The first monograph on the architects Marie-Claude Bétrix and Eraldo Consolascio takes the form of a «pattern book» that presents a detailed view of incisive aspects of their work. In their many years of confrontation with industrial architecture, Bétrix & Consolascio have tested new principles in the conception of façades, structural systems, and in the subdivision and outfitting of interiors from which later building projects will be able to achieve tremendous expressive power. The monograph introduces, among other objects, the buildings for energy supply in Salzburg (1985-2003), the women’s clinic of the University Hospital Bern (2002), the Herti Sports Hall Zug (2001), the Pfizer Building (2003) and the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich (2007).
