AKSL arhitekti was established in a year 2000 by two architects Špela Leskovic and Aleš Košak. They both finished their studies at Faculty for Architecture in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

AKSL works in the fields of architecture and interior design. Projects are usually multidisciplinary, involving all sort of experts from different professions, such as: graphic designers, industrial designers, artists, photographers, fashion designers, poets and innovators. Through last decade, office became international and works globally, with head seat in Ljubljana, Slovenia and office branch in Vienna, Austria, offering services in english, slovene, german, serbo-croatian and french language.

Our team consist of a talented and motivated architects who make sure that all good ideas find their way into a project.

Spela Leskovic (* 1976)
Graduated from the Architecture Faculty in Ljubljana (Prof. Jurij Kobe). She is a free-lance architectural designer. Since 2000 she has worked in cooperation with Aleš Košak as one of the AKSL duo. At the same time active in the theatre; her first set design 1997, and independent theatre projects since 2002; architectural project by AKSL.

Ales Kosak (* 1974)
Studied architecture at Faculty for Architecture in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Finished studies in 2009 with a diploma degree at mentor Prof. Ales Vodopivec. Over twenty years of experiences as an Architect, Interior Designer and Partner in architectural office AKSL arhitekti, together with Architect Spela Leskovic. Main field of the past work represent the interior design of public spaces such as shops, bars, restaurants, bookshops, hotels and spa, architectural planning such as one family houses, villas and conversions of the old buildings.
AKSL received several nominations for interior design awards, f.E. short listed for Plecnik medal in 2009 with the Restaurant Rozmarin, short listed for Contract world award 2010 with the Restaurant Valvas'or and short listed for Contract world Award 2011 with the Cafeteria Rog. AKSL received a National Interior design Award 2015 for Restaurant Robba, a BIG See Award 2019 for extension of Cafeteria Rog, a National Interior design Award 2020 for the hotel Grand Koper and a BIG See Award 2022 for the Restaurant Magnet.
From 2015 on AKSL focus is mainly on the hospitality projects within the EU community and neighbouring countries, f. E. Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Austria, Italy and Hungary, however with a lot of professional connections, activities in the Hospitality segment, are lately establishing also abroad, f. E. in Asia.
AKSL projects were published in the various printed or digital architectural media worldwide.
